On a road trip up the north of Scotland at the moment and just got the Emission System Service warning. Quick search on here and seems not to be a problem. Now looking to get an ODB2 reader and looking for best recommendation for use with Aston. Would consider both standard system or cable and connection to iPhone plus appropriate App.
Recommend the OBD Link MX.
Its a bit dearer than some but connects to more protocols and stability is perfect. It auto shuts off also so leave it plugged in if you like and appears no battery drain I've ever noticed.
I have the Foxwell 530 which is plug in and connects to the body control side most items. (seperate port on car) as well as the engine side.
The MX is quality and around 65 quid. Ebay new if you look hard enough.

Has anyone used an OBD2 reader to read diagnostic trouble codes and clear check engine light on a newer model Vanquish (MY2012-)? I have tried a few devices (which worked on the Vantage) but although they register the connection with the car they do not connect to the ECU on the Vanquish. Thanks, Pete.
