DBS Volante Roof Issue
Discussion
What caused mine, I think, was a few days sitting outside in the sun in Florida. It's normally always stored out of the sun. My roof started like that with a small section in the middle and then a few days later the glass was lying on the parcel shelf.
I spoke to a few convertible roof specialists here and they all said that the entire roof needed replaced since re-installing the original glass with adhesive wouldn't work. I then spoke to the dealer here and they put the original glass back using adhesive. They did a great job and it looks perfect. I don't know how long it will last but we'll see. It was only repaired last week.
If you do something about it now you might be able to stop all of the adhesive failing and the glass coming out.
Cheers.

I also had the same issue with my 2008 DB9 and I understand it is a fairly common problem. Eventually it got much worse with the glass separating from the roof in a much larger area. My local AM dealer had experience with reattaching and I had them do it at a small fraction of the cost of a new roof. I was warned that it may not hold for long but it has been good for over a year. I could have it reattached multiple times for the cost of a new roof.
