I have been vacillating whether to buy or not to buy however the evil spell of the 2014 Vanquish finally got hold of me and I sold the DB9 and bought the Vanquish. Photo attached.
It was an interesting process with Covid involved as over the years I have bought a few cars from melbourne and always flown down from brisbane some 1700kl away and purchased the car and driven back. The drive back has always been wonderful especially 2 yrs ago when I bought the DB9.
This time however Melbourne is in lock down so all the negotiations have been done by email and phone and the car trucked up here. It was sent in a semi open truck so I was quite disappointed when it arrived at the dealers agent however no damage just dust and they detailed it and I picked her up yesterday.
Well what a different animal to the db9. Bulging Bonnet, quick steering, great brakes, terrific interior, great sound system, 1/2 an inch more legroom in the back seat
177 steering wheel and what a sound.
I have only driven it about 15 kl so far and am still getting used to its quirks but so far I am loving it.
The tyranny of distance played into the hands of the dealer in that there are 2 items I wasn't told of or happy about. 1. the carbon roof has a bit of crazing on the front edge about 2 inches wide and the valet key is missing.
I checked all the services records thoroughly and the videos and photos looked fantastic and the description was "as new" 34000kl but alas its minor blemishes weren't disclosed. I am still happy though.
Hope you enjoy the photos.

Thanks for your comments.
I have nov driven about 80 klm and I love it. The sounds, ride, handling all fantastic. I am a very happy Chappy.
I am going to carbon fibre wrap the carbon roof for now just to protect it until I can work out who can re clear coat it to remove the small blemishes.
They have some fantastic wrap products that look so close to the weave on the roof albeit without the goldy tinge but close enough for short term.
Heading out tomorrow on some winding roads to learn a bit more.
