DB9 Thermostat Change?

I am presently in the process of changing the radiator in my 2007 DB9.

Anyone got any views on whether to change the thermostat at the same time?

When i changed my radiator i also replaced the thermostat, with new o rings, plus i replaced all the major radiator pipes and the expansion tank cap.

I also replaced the aux drive belt with the pulleys and tensioner pulley.

Great project to do when replacing the rad.

My car always had a whiff of hot antifreeze , strangley only topped coolant up once a year, and only half pint or so, never found leak until i did the plugs and coils, it was the o ring on the thermostat housing leaking coolant into the v, it just dried up in there, o rings were pennies , so at least replace those, never read of v12 stat failure but weve got nothing else to do for a few weeks!
