Rapide rear deck rub strips

Good day all. I was wondering if anyone has an idea where the rub strips on the rear deck on a Rapide are sourced from. Scuderia says they're not available for order.

I am surprised the AM main dealer can't get them for you - they used a very similar thing in the Vanquish Zagato shooting brake - probably cheaper if you say it's for a Rapide though !!

Alternatively Astonmartinbits have a rear deck with them on....

I inquired and they had no part number for them and were unwilling to research it. I'm in USA and far from a real dealer.

that has a parts diagram on it, and it looks like the parts they have are new apparently...

Thanks. I saw that. Unfortunately there are 4 on the other side of the deck as well. I just need the silver strip or the plastic inserts that go in the groove. I don't want to spend close to $2700 USD for both carpets. Lol. Almost every Rapide I see for sale has broken/bent/missing strips. I was hoping A/M sourced them from another application and I could find the inserts. The strips are metal a d in perfect condition. The car has just 11k miles on her.

I would call AM works in the UK and speak to their parts team - they are usually very helpful and I bet they will be able to help.

Hi, please let me know if you find them! I've been trying to identify them as a couple of the rubber strips have disappeared from mine - they are magentised rubber I tihnk. As you say, they are probably a generic part somewhere

Agreed I'll continue to search and post if I have success. One of the only spots on my Rapide I can say was under-engineered. I'm thinking of trying a latex mold making kit and pouring some out of epoxy while I have a few in good shape.

Hi Charjac - did you have any luck sourcing anything? Just had mine serviced at AM main dealer and forgot to enquire...
