OK, i wonder if any of you have seen this before?

I had a friend over today to service his DB9.
All was going well plugs and coils on the LH bank went well, then on the RH bank, there was engine oil under the coils and above the spark plugs on the front 3 cylinders, the worse actually had a cracked spark plug Ceramic isolator.
There was no trace of oil above the coils.
Anyone seen this before?
Any idea where its coming from?
Engine ran fine both before and after the service. No change as you'd expect.

On the V8, there is an o ring around each plug aperture on the inside of the cam cover, to stop oil leaking out. If the V12 is the same, you will have to remove the cam covers, and replace them.

I would remove the cam covers, replace the gaskets and sparkplug oil seals, that should stop any leaks.

FWIW, the Spark Plug seals are standard Ford products. The valve cover gasket is AM specific and priced appropriately.

That will be a camcover gasket leaking oil into the plug well. A certain cause of coil failure if its not rectified.
