The race start is on early afternoon of the 12th of May, the racers will be back in Brescia on the 15th.

We cannot go anywhere EVR.
UK in lockdown.
Daily positve COVID cases have now exceeded 60,000, far too many deaths and ambulances queueing outside hospitals.
However, some clever Brits have created a vaccine, which does not need to be stored at -70°C.
Pharmacuticals, one sector where we are still a world leader.
Hopefully we will all be saved, in time for the 2023 Miglia.

Auto club Brescia got lucky in 2020 and managed to run the MM in late October instead of the usual dMay date .
The entry wasn't full at about 350 cars but better than nothing .
2021 entry is also reduced from 400 to 375 cars.
They are also running in reverse direction going west and south down the west side of the country to Rome and back up east side on day 3 and 4.
First they've done that since the race ran in period .

There was also the Supercars Owners Club tagging along (and the Ferrari Tribute, but they started from Riva del Garda):
You can sort of see them in these pictures, the SOC consisted in a Koenigsegg Regera in carbon fibre, a Bugatti Veyron, a Countach, an Aventador SVJ, a DBS Superleggera and a vintage Mustang. The technical car for those was a pink DBX.
I also went for a stroll in the nearby parking lot:

We went out for dinner and found this beauty:
The next day it was the race start. I have many videos about it, not so many pictures:
We then moved to Gardone Riviera to the hotel, for three days of pool, restaurants, cultural visits, sightseeing and boat tours. We shared to road with the race for a while, people on the street sides were cheering the Aston like a participant, pretty cool.
We caught up with the race in Salò, just before the finish in Brescia. The Ferrari Tribute passed from there too. Again, not so many pictures, more videos:
The winner ended up being the number 43, on a 1929 Alfa Romeo 6C Super Sport Zagato. Funny thing, the copilot was... buckle up... the brother of the ex-husband of the sister of my girlfriend's mom. Here is a picture from the press:
Overall, a fantastic experience, to be done again next year with some of you hopefully. A bunch of Porsche fans showed up, they were staying at the hotel too. Classic 911, 912 and Karmann Ghia all over the place. Quite the trip from Germany in those with no AC, but you could tell they were hardcore fans. Sorry for not too many pictures in action, but I was just enjoying the moment, the vibe.
