Beautiful V12V Roadster
Discussion
I really like this and its good to see they are now commanding a price they deserve to be. Ridiculous when just a short time ago they where below £100k some folk got an absolute bargain IMO.

Lovely car, I'm sure I've seen that somewhere before.
Even thought the 7sp Manual is a better all round car
, I can't help but thinking that long term the 6sp is the one to have, although in the fullness of time I doubt there there will be anything in it, they're both as rare as each other, and I'm sure that will be reflected in the desirability in years to come.

Then you have the looks of the non S with the interior etc of the newer S.
Really wonder if we will see some sort of limited edition V12 Manual roadster version of the current Vantage. Probably could sell 100 at very steep prices plus they already have the gearbox in the coupe being offered.

These cars are the sweet spot for Vantage. The S has better steering and more go but the 7 speed manual is not a patch on the 6 speed. A safe place to put and enjoy your money. The blue one that was briefly listed on Collecting Cars was the perfect spec and sold before the auction.
The chap who bought the blue car is on here also, and yes it is also lovely. It seems that some of the 101 cars where specced more unusually vs the coupes.Edited by cayman-black on Saturday 9th January 09:43

Yes, was very fortunate to be offered the Mariana Blue/cream V12VR late last year, can now understand the support these rare 6 speed roadsters receive, a car of multiple personalities, civilised GT when needs be, lunatic hotrod when the roads are less greasy, tyres are working etc.

Morning Frost over Spicy Red was the launch spec for the V12VR.I think the press fleet car had red carbon though, and not the (questionable?) gloss black wheels on this HWM car.
A nailed-on classic for sure, but no way a £130k car. This will hang around like a bad smell at that price and I'll put money that it's on consignment / SoR.

Having looked up the pics, the wheels on the press car are maybe even more questionable, with red inserts!I think the press fleet car had red carbon though, and not the (questionable?) gloss black wheels on this HWM car.

On closer inspection it seems to be a flat white (Stratus?) rather than MF...

No, not quite right. The 4.0 V8 twin-turbo with the seven speed manual is torque limited in several gears to protect the gearbox. The DBS Superleggera full-fat edition would turn that graziano box into swarf. Would need something else, either Graziano has a higher torque manual box (which I doubt, else why not use that for the existing 4.0 V8 twin-turbo) or would have to engineer one. That's expensive...AdamV12AMR said:

I'm with you on that. The Marianna car was offered by Works last year for £95k, and there's no way that these have suddenly shot up by over 35% in 6-9 months.AdamV12AMR said:

I may be wrong on this but I vaguely remember reading somewhere that Daniel Craig took delivery of a white V12VR around the time production was close to ending. I think it was some time after Skyfall, perhaps around his 45th birthday. Maybe a gift from AM or possibly his wife. Anyway, I digress. The Mariana Blue car is a very nice example indeed. Well done on snapping that one up! The white car at the beginning of this thread....not really my cup of tea. I’m not a big fan of red, inside or out, so I could never live with that interior. And as others have said, it’s not going to move anywhere at that price, despite is relatively rarity.

Seem to remember somewhere he had this car which was a AM press car mid 2013, I used a certain central London gym which he came to from time to time.....but didn’t he actually have a White Vanquish for his 45th which he then auctioned for charity.....?Best Regards

Apart from the V12VR which started this thread, there are currently no original six speed manuals available on the AM Pre-Owned website (in the U.K. that is)
