So ive been looking at doing the front discs/pads on my DB9
I've picked up a new set of brembo discs and have been looking at pads.

Brembo say part number p 02 002 for the DB9/vantage pads.
However part number p 44 018 for a range rover has exactly the same compound and dimensions, but is 0.7mm thicker.
The cost difference is that the 44 018 pads are around £100 cheaper.

Has anyone tried these?
If so,
Does the 0.7mm per pad mean they are too thick to install?
Or do they work ok?
Do they squeal like certain others can?

Probably OK but make sure the material is the same compound. Should be, although lower speeds in a Range rover more heat produced due to the weight.

Just read your post again.. Compound the same.

Not sure what year your car is, but on my DB9 (2005) the pads are Pagid RS422 and they're available from Euro Car Parts currently at £88.82 inc vat with a discount code for 37% off. They sometimes have 50% off flash sales on brakes too!

The wear indicators are a separate item
