High level LED strip repairable? And Brake Light Switch?

I've noticed one of the LED lights in the high level brake lights on the boot lid has gone off, is this strip repairable or is it a new one? I see £217.35 plus VAT at AstonMartinBits.....

Also the brake light switch is sticking, I imagine it is at the end of the pedal...anybody done that repair, is it easy?

Worth taking out & looking for a part number. It might be a Ford or Volvo part.
