Heated Seat Problem V8V - Please Advise

Hi All,

I have a V8 Vantage late 2006, a few days ago on a very cold day I decided to use the heated seat (Last time this was used was about 2 years ago). When I pressed the switch it illuminated and then went out, dead, the lumber stopped working too. I checked the fuse and it had blown, I have just fitted a nice new one, the lumber now works but when I press the heated seat, the light comes on and goes out, if I hold the switch down, the light is on but I get a buzzing noise somewhere in the dash, let go of the switch and the buzzing stops and the light goes out (Fuse has not popped this time).
Any thoughts or ideas, much appreciated.

Morning - I think there was a recall on the wiring harness or the like for heated seats - it caused them to overheat, but it's not impossible this could stop them working too

HI, check on the wiring diagram for a relay, if it is in the dash area, this could be what is making the noise, good luck.
