So liner out the way. 3X 8mm bolts on airbox removed.
MAF detached.

Does the complete unit come out from the bottom or from wheel arch?

Also at the front there’s the intake tube that goes all the way up behind the main grill. How does that come off to dbs Le air box removal?

Help much appreciated

DB9 owner.. But sounds similar. I removed the wheel well liner. The snorkel that attaches to the inside edge of the air box comes off as you lower the airbox (might be screwed on, but I think it was just a press fit with an O-ring).

I used WD-40 on the rubber where it attaches to the TB and a pick to raise the rubber up to loosen it. Rotate the piece with the MAF to remove it from the airbox, unscrew the screws on the bottom of the airbox and it will come out. Of course if you unscrew the upper half of the airbox from the lower, the bottom of the airbox comes off so you can replace the air filter. It is easier to remove it in 2 pieces.

As always YMMV!

Thanks chaps.
All the instructions I’ve read up on make it sound like all I have to do is wave a magic wand and it falls out.

Might be easier to remove the Air filter cover from below (7ish screws IIRC) to allow you to 'feel' where the Outlet tube lies\fits. The problem is the lack of room to pull the plenum tube clear of the airbox. It may be easier to remove the tube from the airbox from underneath before attempting to pull the airbox free. ReInstallation wasn't so bad once you know how all of the bits connect together.

Yeah that’s what I’ve established. Not as easy as I thought it might be
