DB9 Low battery faults cleared, still showing P614
Discussion
Hi Guys, With the bad weather, had to bring the DB9 back in the snow, and couldn't make it up the road due to the ice. Left it at the bottom of the hill and put back on the drive when it cleared. Like a dummy I didn't put it on charge and when I went to use as I pulled out of the road, every alarm under the sun came on the message display and brake and MIL all lit up. I had brake failure, engine temp too hot and needle kept jumping around even though stone cold, emissions failure, gear positions unreadable, and a host of others. I turned round and limped the mile home.
I have had the car on charge and hooked up my Foxwell NT530 with Aston download and every alarm has cleared except for the emissions service (change in driving due to weather and lockdown?), and MIL lit. The P codes are showing as P614 ECM/TCM incompatible CAN level (looked up diagnostic code and it says the Mechatronic unit may have been changed (not) and software level may be different to that logged in vehicle?) and P1797 CAN TCM to ECM fault which doesn't say much.
Any ideas please, is it a dealer visit? anything I can do. I guess I also need a new battery, would this make any difference to fault. Thanks Andy
