As the heading, I’m changing the front disc pads, eurocarparts has the following:

https://www.eurocarparts.com/p/pagid-brake-pad-101...

Which after the weekend 37% discount comes in at under £90.

I’m changing them because the recent service said they should be changed, no light on dashboard yet but should I change the sensor too as a matter of course?

Again eurocarparts.....

https://www.eurocarparts.com/p/pagid-wear-sensor-1...

Total price after weekend discount is £118.89....... I’m presuming that’s a good price or anywhere better?

£54 seems a bit top heavy. If it isn’t worn then shouldn’t be any need to change it.

Check the prices on Carparts4less too. Same company as ECP but sometimes the same parts are cheaper even taking into account the fake ECP discount.

As long as they haven’t touched the disc you can gently pry them out and reuse them, give em a good clean up first as the brake dust jams them in the slot. I seem to recall there’s a little spring clip So watch out for that

Also depends how old the sensors are. I have gone to replace pads before thinking the sensors will be ok because the light has not come on only to find they disintregrate when removing them because they are old. I've then had to wait a couple of days for new ones to be delivered.

You could buy the sensors just in case and return them if you don’t need them. I did a rear brake how to on here a few years ago which is in the FAQ’s but the link seems to be broken but if you can find it the fronts are the same.
