Radio staying on when car turned off.

As some of you are aware I picked up a DBS at the weekend and a couple of times this week the radio has stayed on when I’ve removed the key and is still playing when I come back to the car a couple of hours later. It doesn’t do it every time which is why it’s puzzling? Any ideas what might be causing it as I don’t want to leave it playing and come back to a flat battery?

Just a quick update in case anyone has a similar problem in future.
I’d been having problems locking the car too which I’d put down to an issue with the new glass key I’d just bought from AM Nottingham (£££
). It turns out there was an issue with the key slot sticking on the first position so the car was thinking the key was still in the slot and not turning off the radio nor letting me lock it.
Luckily the RAC warranty I got with car is going to pay the bulk of the £1k+ bill and I only have to pay the difference in hourly labour rates between one of their approved garages and AM’s rates.
