So, have owned car for a little over 2 years - faultless

bought 3700km, now 25,000km

It went to Aston on 4.01.21 for warranty work (at end of AM warranty) which included replacing the breather hoses to the manifold as they said there was evidence of oil in them. Had never thrown any warning codes at this point

Work done, car collected - 40km later on way home it threw "Emission System Service Required"

advised AM Service and decided to drive it a few cycles to see if it cleared (like the V8's do ). No luck so took it back (80km drive) and left it with them.

Told it was fixed & picked it up - Warning came back

Took it back again - repeat!

Finally wrote to them and made it clear this was a warranty issue & I wanted it fixed

Took it for a third time - they had it for 2 days - told me they had found the fault - damaged manifold gasket

So told it was all fixed, apologies from the tech (who I have a fair bit of time for having dealt with him for 5 years now) and drove it home. Tried to drive it in anger for the first time this morning & guess what - "Emission System Service Required"

the codes are

P2180. 1/12
System too rich off idle Bank 2
P2178 2/12
System too rich off idle Bank 1
P2189 3/12
System too lean at idle Bank 2
P2187 4/12
System too lean at idle Bank 1

Then it repeats

P2180. 5/12
System too rich off idle Bank 2
P2178 6/12
System too rich off idle Bank 1
P2189 7/12
System too lean at idle Bank 2
P2187 8/12
System too lean at idle Bank 1

And again

P2180. 9/12
System too rich off idle Bank 2
P2178 10/12
System too rich off idle Bank 1
P2189 11/12
System too lean at idle Bank 2
P2187 12/12
System too lean at idle Bank 1

Can any body provide some advice so I can get this fixed - its will be 4 months soon & im over it

rant over

help appreciated

For that error state, I'd put money on the Lambda sensors being incorrectly connected.

Rear Sensor to Front Connector and Front Sensor to Rear Connector.

Very easy to do, particularly if the labels on the harness have come off.
