Beware varmints nesting in the V of the engine block under the inlet manifold. I only discovered this after I smelled roasting acorns. I was lucky the whole lot didn't go up in flames!

I had the same in my lawn tractor. I just started it up in the garage one day and there were bits of mouses flying everywhere. It was like a mouse horror film. They haven’t been back since

Yes, found it had chewed through the secondary air pump vacuum hose.

I’ve had them in my outside cars but not in the garaged AM. I use an ultrasonic thingy. Don’t know if if really works but no trouble last 2 years

After watching the video we also checked the top of the gearbox, and guess what, another nest! "Fortunately" mine's a manual so not so many wires there, but still...

They’re available on eBay etc. I have a plug in one that’s on all the time
Also a battery one for inside the car if necessary
I have bait boxes in the garage and traps. If any bait goes I know something has been in
I guess just regular checks is all we can do

I see no evidence of rodents in my garage but it must be just sheer luck. However, I have become aware of spider poop since buying an aston martin, that was a learning experience I never anticipated!
