Aston Martin DB7 Vantage Jacking points

I want to get my Aston Martin DB7 Vantage on 4 jack stands so I can clean the bottom and rust treat it. I just need to know where I can Jack the car up and get it on the stands? If you know the process that would be great. I'm trying to get the whole car on stands.

Has it got the owner's manual with it? Sometimes this info is in there.

Otherwise I'd just use the appropriately tough-looking bits of subframes at their attachment points etc.

Google it - service manuals, images of the jacking points, etc are all easily available from a quick search.

If no one on here knows, Chiltern Aston near Chesham would be worth a call. I'm sure also that someone in AMOC that has a 7 would know.

I jack mine (i6) up at the front using the main engine crossmember. Use a rubber jack pad or a piece of wood to prevent any damage. I place the stands under the suspension spring bottom plates on the outer edges.
At the rear I place it directly under the diff and lift there. As its central there's no tilting as you lift. Several places to locate the stands which will depend on where you want to access.

Hi, Thanks for that. I want to scrub the underside and put under seal on the car. So I found an extract of a manual that shows the 4 corners of the car just where the foot wells end. There are bolts that mark the points. Are these correct? Mine doesn't have a front cross member. It has a rear cross member which has rusted.

What do you think of a strong piece of wood along the outer edge of the foot well, car length wise and then lifting from the center? then putting the jack stands on the bolts they mention in the manual? My concern is if I would just damage the body in the middle.
