Newbie Aston Martin V8 Vantage owner - electrical issues

Hi all. Thank you in advance for any advice or tips

So purchased an AMV coupe 2008 N400. I knew it would come with a few issues whi h I hope to fix myself. I have had a fiddle and....

1. Drivers window goes up and down in stages. Juddery and sometimes does not reach the full up position and sometimes it drops 5mm then it could drop 3cm. I have done the restet at the bottom and again at the top but does not work

2. Passenger window did not move at all. I have managed to get it to the same juddery stage as the drivers door where it goes up and down in stages.

3. Drivers wing mirror. When I unlock the car to get in it starts to click and judder to move but goes in all sorts of directions. I have to reset it every time I get in the car. I think the passenger will do the same.

I have removed both fuses in the footwell. Windows though still moved which was weird. They were the right fuses according to the manual and youtube vids.

I disconnected the battery and left for 10 mins the put all back together but issue is still there. Would it be knackered modules???

Any suggestions before I take it in and get stung 😊

I can help with the wing mirror, mine did that.
The point I pivots is alluminum and corrodes, it needs to be taken apart and lubricated. I did a temp fix before I stripped it using silicone grease spray through a straw.
Spraying in the mechanism while someone cycled them open closed and giving it a helping hand until they were OK again

Hi mate appreciate the reply. Are you talking about the glass or the main mechanism

I should have said it was the glass that was juddering and trying to move although silicon spray in there could work so will give that a go.

I had the same symptoms you mention for one of my windows, Aston Martin Edinburgh diagnosed it as a faulty window regulator, cost to replace would have been £600 (this was back in 2013) but it was covered by the warranty at the time.

Haha does that mean price has gone up 😂😂😂

I see bamford rose say £250 for a module got to do both sides. Labour and Vat. Will be a grand so I have that in my mind.
