Subwoofer enclosure removal

Managed to find a helpful guide to removing the rear trim, which should hopefully allow me to replace the parking sensor module (will update that thread accordingly once successful).

I am however stuck at the removal of subwoofer enclosure bit. So far only a couple of scraped knuckles and much swearing, which is good.

The instructions have been followed to the letter, however, they say undo the mounting nuts and pull the enclosure out. Typically it won’t budge. Can’t lift it up, can’t pull it forward. The four mounting nuts are all off.

At the stage where I’m tempted to use brute force, but that will only result in something getting damaged.

One tip is wear clothes without zips or studs and do it in your socks. A course of yoga also helps, as there’s a lot of contortion going on...
