Vantage V8S badges

I have a 2012 Vantage V8S with a chrome 'S' badge, I've seen red 'S' badges, were these only fitted to V12 models?

I like them, so thought I’d fit one on my V8VS. I bought it from Aston Martin Bits. Yet to fit it though.

I actually had my black 'S' repainted red well before AM took the decision to officially make it red, but my advice is not to go down that route as the paint doesn't stay on.

Through a friendly service manager, I eventually had the official red 'S' badge applied but, as I recall, the dealer was required to appropriate a chassis number to the order with AM to avoid dilution of the model.

I am sorry I am not sure but am seriously thinking of putting a V 12 badge on my car just so you can distinguish the amount of excitement within.

Tony u dont need a badge - just hold the revs longer & everyone will understand whats under the bonnet of that lovely machine of yours!
