Help requested from my UK AM friends

Hello all,

I would like to make an offer/purchase an AM B&O pop-up tweeter that is for sale on eBay UK. It is part number CD43-18D801-AA. The person selling it will not sell it to someone in the United States, so I was hoping someone in the UK could purchase it and have it sent to you. I would send you the funds via PayPal, Venmo or even TransferWise...whatever is easiest for you. I would also email you a FedEx label to slap on the box so it could be sent to me in the US with no risk to you. If you have any concerns, we could certainly chat on the phone to help you feel more comfortable. I realize this is a big favor to ask and if you would need some compensation to make this work, I am open to discussing that. Here is the eBay link to the tweeter:

Hi Dave - why don’t you purchase it and have it shipped to the UK ? That takes the risk out of the equation.

Unfortunately since my eBay account is in US, the system will not even allow me to make a bid and to say "ship it to the US." I would have to make up a fake eBay account to do what you suggest. But it was a good idea.

I want to thank Paul for offering to help me out. The good news is I did not need to purchase the tweeter after all. I removed the tweeter from the car, bench tested it and believe it was "stuck" initially. Freed it up by running 5V, reconnected the tweeter in the car and all is working great!
