Alarm fault?

Afternoon all I have just noticed a problem with the remote arming/locking of my 2006 V8 Vantage when pressing the remote to lock the car the indicators do not light up to give a visual confirmation even thought the car locks/deadlocks itself when unlocking the indicators flash as they should I have tried the spare remote with the same outcome anybody have any thoughts please? Thanks.

Might be teaching you how to suck eggs, but are you sure the boot/hood are properly closed before locking? I noticed mine was flashing weirdly once when I didn't closed the boot properly.
