Advice buying V8 Vantage ‘12 Coupe

The price seems high, but they probably feel there is rarity in the mileage.
I have not looked for the advert, but it ought to be in as-new condition for that money.
I bought a mint 8,000m 2009 V8V for just £3k more from a main dealer, but that was 10 years ago! Prices now appear to be rising.
In those days, there was quite a choice of as-new low mileage cars, but obviously not so easy to find them now.
What are they like to live with - wonderful.
With luck, they are generally reliable. Mine has only needed a clutch, one door damper, air con radiator and a set of tyres since new.

It is reasonable if you want him to effectively take it off sale, and a main dealer I wouldn't have a problem with. The amount? Always more than you think, needs to show you are serious as he may miss out on a different sale... If it's too much offer less!

I'd be wanting to know that the servicing had been carried out on an annual basis, or as close as possible, and not 'as and when, just because it hasn't done many miles'.
There are a lot being sold with FSH, dealer or Indy, that actually haven't kept to the annual schedule and, at the very least, a minor service every year.
Remember, whatever anomalies you accept from the dealer you then have to spin that yarn to the person you sell it on to and buyers are far less inclined to accept an 'excuse' about issues from a private seller than they are from a dealer.

As already mentioned, I have a very similar car, 3 years older, double the mileage.
My brakes/discs are fine, so I would be very surprised if there is much brake wear on the car you have reserved.
4.7 prices have risen a little recently. £55k now for an 8 year old, whereas it used to be enough for a 4 year old.
That probably reflects the few good ones now available. Photos show a beautiful as-new interior.
Pluses: low mileage; pictures show perfect condition; manual.
Minus: no Premium Audio.
At 9,000 miles the tyres are probably only half worn, but I have just changed mine due to age (not quite worn out).
On this car, the audio would not put me off, because you would not find many cars like this one any more. The Premium is very good, but I don't listen to it much. Might be even less now, following a recent exhaust 'tweak'.
Timeless at some dealers can be a tick box exercise, but suggest you look carefully yourself to see if you can find any visible blemishes. EG. paint bubbles (mainly found on doors), paint missing on door mirror arms, stone chips on front and bonnet etc., wheel damage. Usually a dealer will deal with paint blemish correction as part of the transaction, but afterwards we are on our own.
