Front Mud Flaps

Hello all,

Has anyone got OEM front mud flaps fitted to their Vantage and do they protect the sills and rear wings from stone chips?

Getting some paintwork done on sills and rear wings, don't really like the look of PPF and am thinking this might be a solution.

Yes I have them, and no, not complete protection. Sills are shielded, but not the rear quarters.

PPF is invisible if done right.

I appreciate its a lot more expensive than mud flaps, but they are far more likely to look naff than PPF would…. In my experience its the rear bumper / arch that takes the most punishment from stones.

I use the front OEM guards on my V12V. Special order but we’ll worth it imho. But I’ve also got the ppf on the sills and arches too. ‘ First choice detailing’ . Highly recommended if you’re down south!

Yes to both, but got the extended ppf up to the crease.

I've fitted flaps or stone guards as they're called in AM world and they look really good. Difficult to see in this pic, but they're unobtrusive, really snug fit and do the job. Well worth having IMHO.

I had them on my 2011 vantage. They worked great and looked great. I can’t find any for my 2017 Rapide S. Ordered a set for a DB 9 hoping the sill is the same. If not, I will make them a door prize at the next club event. How bad could it be?

I have them on the front of the db9 - and I don’t have any rashes !!

I have them on my current Vantage and had them on my two previous Vantages. I think they do offer some protection.
