AMV8 Vantage Cant select reverse Sportshift

Hi all.
Recently purchased a V8V 2008. While I love the spund gear changes are not the best but se all know this right.
Bought this car which has had a new clutch fitted by an indy 3000 miles ago or there abouts. Recently the DSC/ABS fault has been present on driving and key on. Bamford rose did a vid on yputube about this either wiring short or pressure sensor. Car has been driving and gear changing although with the errors on the dash i had been unable to downshift so if in 6th i can go to 5th but no lower. I had to flick in neutral and then coast to the speed i wanted then slect a gear. Annoying and complex to do but manageable.
I have it booked in to have this and other issues looked at however…….I am now unable to slect rever to get the car off the drive. It will slect 1st and neutral but if i press the button on the custer for reverse nothing. Anyone had a simiar situation. I cant even drive it to get it plugged in. I could push off the drive but at some point i will need to reverse and am cautions of getting stuck out and about. Any suggestions or magic fixes?
