Surprised it hasn't already been commented on. Writing was on the wall for current design team given Moers recent comments IMO.

It's a shame, because he's a talented guy, passionate about the marque and I think overall, his portfolio of work has been successful.

On the flip side, those who were calling for the design team management to be sacked, must be overjoyed at the news.

I think it's a shame too, I personally like all of the current designs.

I think the DB11 is the purest AM of the new cars but he was given a brief from above that all cars needed to look different. I'd say he did that pretty well.

To have made a large SUV an attractive object, they guy had talent.

All beauty is objective, but there’s a real sense he gave his all to the marque.

Wishing him well at the other end of the market.

I didn’t know his partner also worked in the design team at AM - according to autocar she did the interior of db11 and he did the exterior......

Wonder how that worked out with the rest of the team .......

If he did the DBX and Valkyrie then I would argue he is the one that should be kept,

When he was giving his sermons on this subject, I was probably distracted by the incessant arm waving and wondering whether one of his arms would fly off (Monty Python style), instead of concentrating on what he was saying.
Think it was Leonardo da Vinci who liked golden ratios.

Has LS withdrawn all those jumped up president titles yet ?
Ian Callum was not a vice president, but still managed to create the DB7, Vanquish, Vantage (80%), DB9 (?%).
All have great exterior design similarities, but when you know you are on to a winner, stick with it. That is another golden rule, unfortunately broken by a particular sports car.

God knows, but I’d suggest he was the one that should have gone!

Also regarding the comments above that he styled the Valkyrie. I can confirm he didn’t, he took an aero model from RB and made it less aerodynamically efficient because they thought it looked nicer. Completely against the ethos of the car. Sums up the entire AML involvement in the car

I agree, if Nurnberger styled the DB11, the Victor, and the Speedster, what has Marek Reichman been doing? I like all the current products by the way.

As I mentioned elsewhere, the Victor deserves to be a series car. I’m sure that you could implement cost savings without losing the essence of it. It has box office written all over it.

Even the Jaguar F Pace is a much cleaner design than the DBX. AM needs to clean house. Unfortunately they are stuck with redesign of the mess Palmer left them with. It’s all very sad.

All I ever seem to hear of Marek (and a google search seems to confirm) was pictures/ videos of him spending time going around dealerships telling people why the Cars look like they do and the importance of the design .....

Do Ford, or Bentley or Ferrari send their Vice Presidents of etch-a-sketch to explain design to punters at dealerships........

If you have to tell people your product is beautiful and explain how, then it obviously isn't.
