Aston Martin Heritage Festival 2021 - some pics from me

Hi there,

Saturday saw me make the trip to Dallas Burston Polo Club for the 2021 Aston Martin Heritage Festival.

This was an amazing event that was very well organised with the cars in the main display areas really spaced out which gave visitors plenty of room.

Some great cars on show including a good display by AM themselves with the Victor, a Valkyrie prototype and a few other goodies.

Nice pictures - I'm jealous of the skill. If I'd had known I would have left my camera at home and just lifted some of yours

Can I ask what did you use and are these "as shot" or have you processed them in any way?

Hi,

Many thanks, its a case of no gear but plenty of idea (rather than the other way round) These are all taken on my iPhone SE, there is not post processing (other than re-sizing).

The addition of a CPL (circular polarising filter) helps with removing glare on glass which helps them to look professional.

That filter wizardry is very interesting, can you please share more on it? Like model, where to buy, how it works and such?

Hi

They are really inexpensive (less than £10)

Essentially the filter clips onto the top of your phone, you can then turn it prior to taking the photo to minimise the effect of glare on windscreens etc as the filter is graduated.
