Squeak from driver side front wheel. Advice pls

Hi all,

Would appreciate any wisdom. Went out in my Vanquish S (2017) yesterday. First real drive, greater than 10miles, for a while. The drive was on country roads and was safe but spirited.

Towards the end of 20 miles one of the wheels, drivers front I believe, developed a squeak as the car moved. It was loud and did not happen when the car was in reverse. I left the car on the drive for an hour and then asked my son to listen as I put it away in the garage so he could help me confirm which wheel it was. But no sound. All completely silent.

Anyone have any suggestions as to what it could have been?

interesting...I have had a similar experience - but definitely more like a rumble than a squeak.

My car is a 2017 vanquish S volante - LHD...

It came from the front left just after driving off after the car had been parked overnight. It was enough for me to stop and investigate.
Couldn't find anything untoward so proceeded slowly for a matter of 100m or so and the sound disappeared. This occurred a couple of times last year and hasn't returned...

Sorry I can't be of more help, but I'm interested in seeing if anyone else has experienced anything similar...
