My AM journey began in the early 70s when my dad bought a blue dbs v8 auto with wire wheels.
Whilst he had that he bought a red single headlight 6cylinder manual wire wheel car that he decided to keep, so he sold the blue one and a few more on beside as i remember. I worked on them all as an apprentice and apart from the rust they were lovely things.
Fast forward 50 years.....he rang me the other day and told me that during a garage clearout he had found the identification plate for the blue one.
Seemingly one of his mechanics had found it sitting on top of the chassis rail and put it in his toolbox!!
How do i find out if this car still exists?
If it does the owner might want the original plate, if not its going to end up in my toolbox.
I know this is more an AMOC thing but im hoping one of their members will see it here
