Trimmer recommendations

Evening all, have some delamination on the deck lid/soft top cover on the Vanquish.
Looks like it needs re trimming, any recommendations from experience please.
Distance within the UK no real problem as the panel can be detached and shipped.

I recently had the leather of the passenger airbag door and the “hockey stick” piece in front of it re-glued by the Aston Martin Works trimshop - excellent job, as you’d expect from an outfit that can trim complete cars

Hi LTP, works told me the hockey stick on mine was needing work at the last service, but tbh I can’t see where they see that (need new glasses!) how much was it if you don’t mind me asking?

Trinity do a lot of that with all generations. Its pretty impressive looking around their place

Another +1 for Works. I had to have most of the passenger side section re-trimmed after the sun dried the glue and shrunk the leather. They did a fantastic job.

Try Matt Hill, he just does Astons. Retrimmed my DBSV8 a few years ago, did a superb job.

They billed me 4 hours, including removal and refit, at £90 per. Some will say that Fred in a Shed could have done it a lot cheaper: fine, take yours to Fred. Bear in mind that this was both pieces and the airbag cover was by far the worst of the two parts, but I could see that the leather on the hockey stick where it butted up against the airbag cover was not tight on the edge of the trim, so while it was the airbag cover I wanted fixing as it was visually obvious I thought I'd get them to do both pieces while they had the car in bits

As a bonus an occasional slight "tizz" from that area over some road surfaces seems to have been fixed during the removal and refit.

I am assuming that they just stretched and re-glued rather than doing any retrimming; before they did the work the airbag cover leather did look wrinkled where it had come adrift and been exposed to the sun, but now both pieces look like new.
