I'm looking to get a db11 as my daughter becomes more independent as she approaches 3.

Had to trade my vantage upon her arrival and can't fit a rapide in my garage.

To the parents out there: Am I being realistic in thinking a 3 year old will fit in the back seats comfortably? Is the boot large enough for the endless paraphernalia a toddler and wife deem necessary? Is it reasonable seating children in the back or is it immense faffing about resulting in a trip to a chiropractor?
Any recommendations on child seats that work in the environment?

Many thanks.

I don't own a DB11 but I can confirm that I can sit in the back, even if it is a bit tight, especially getting out. But I'm older than 3 so not so limber and I'm about 6' 4". You can get 2 sets of golf clubs in the boot, or a variety of hard cases - there's a lot more room in the back and the boot than in a DB9. I can't comment on push-chairs and the like

I'll let real owners chip in now

Having owned a DB11 for around three years, I can pass on what I have learnt.

I didn't find an Isofix seat that worked in the DB11 for us at any stage from newborn to just over two years old. They may well exist, but the seats I was suggested and tried either didn't fit into the back seat with the passenger seat folded down, or would only go in with the passenger seat pushed right forward (and unusable for my wife).

Perhaps the Isofix points are more for booster seats.

Probably not much interest for you, but at the newborn stage we were only able to belt in a rear facing baby seat. It didn't leave much legroom for the passenger, but it worked, and I couldn't think of a cooler way to get to special events, weddings, etc. with the whole family!

Belt-in seats are probably the only real world option, if you want to use the car normally. The seat that I have been using for short(ish) trips is:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B06XS8YBP8

For just over an hour we didn't have any issues, and for longer drives we have just taken a break at around the hour mark.

Hope that helps!

Agree regarding boot space, if it is packed well you can get a lot in there, never had any issues there!

As my wife is shorter than my daughter , she sits quite comfortably in back of our 2004 Vanquish.Boot is big enough for clothes for few days away.

Urban Kanga gets my shout for a belt seat too.

For your reference, rear seats:

DB11: 40cm (width) x 32cm (depth)
Vanquish: 43cm (width) x 36cm (depth)

I was surprised the Vanq is bigger.

I have owned a DB11 for around 9 months now with a 2.5 and 1 year old child so I’ve got a bit on info to share.

Boot space is fine , we have had several fold up pushchairs fit no problem along with the bags etc.

Car seats the newborn stage was difficult but we could get a maxi-cosi car seat in behind the passenger seat with my 5ft6 wife in front .

From 2 the seat options are much easier we have two seats that fit in no issues and my 2.5 year old can fit behind both sides without issue.
You may find there feet rest against the back of the chair a bit so it’s worth getting a cover to stop them kicking and damaging the back of the seat.

We have this one .

I found that isofix was a bit of squeeze. Ended up using a Halfords belt-fit seat which was much slimmer. That was fine for my 3 year old daughter and gave enough leg room for passenger. I wouldn't want to have her behind me in the driving seat though. Boot space pretty decent.
