I have question regarding my 2005 Aston DB9 Volante. During a hot day, the entire dashboard does not come on and the radio is stuck in on position and the center console switches don't function. The ABS and Brake light are illuminated on the dashboard.
Roof does not work either.
Disconnected the battery and reconnected but still no joy.The battery reset button in the boot does not work at all. I'm not sure when that issue started but it does not kill the electricity when pushed.

Hi - it’s almost certainly the roof control module. It’s a very common fault and mine was exactly the same - exacerbated by hot weather. It’s a £500 part, an easy fit for an AM specialist and they’ll need to recode the part to your car. If you do a forum search there’s loads of info on it and how to temporarily bypass the module by removing its fuse. Good luck!

Give your dashboard and steering column a dust too.

All those random errors. Sounds like the 12V battery to me..

Car is now able to drive. I pressed the yellow reset button for the battery.

Fuse 69 has been taken out from the cabin
Fuse 10 has been left in the boot

Just need to order a new roof control module from AM

Just checking is the roof module plug and play? Or does the dealer have to preprogramme the unit?
