Incognegro (Alistair).... New Splitter

A few weeks ago I got in touch with Incognegro (forum name for Alistair).

If you don't know, he makes front splitters and a few other items for Aston's. The splitters are available in a range of finishes and after several messages and some photographs I went for a carbon finish.

Within a week the new splitter arrived however the box was damaged and upon opening sure enough so was the splitter. The packaging and pre posting photographs all showed it to be well protected but Parcel Force did their best (sarcasm) and it was not something that could be easily repaired without it looking awful.

Further contact with Alistair resulted in a new one being made whilst in the background he took to recovering money via said carrier.

Yesterday we met half way between my location and Alistair's and enjoyed a good 90 minutes chatting about life, cars etc.

Believe me if you have an interest in people and life then Alistair has a story to tell, very impressive and harrowing at the same time but obviously a strong character and a genuinely good guy.

The following are a some photographs I took of our two cars and the last ones towards the bottom are of my new splitter fitted.

Suffice to say I couldn't be happier. I realise its each to their own however, I prefer the look of the extended and full width splitter to the original fit plastic piece.

Thanks for your positive comments.

I think it best that Incognegro comments on this however, I can tell you his cars grill has been carbon dipped, so not real carbon but a very good finish.

Alistair has a lot of ideas and I think is busy trying to find ways to bring them to life.

I don't offer a carbon grille as I think you're imagining (carbon surround with mesh centre?). Personally I have had my original slats carbon hydro dipped

Blimey, that front numberplate is on the small side. Avoid the traffic cops in West Sussex, they are having a clampdown on plates

Is this splitter from from Maxton designs in the uk ?
i notice you opted for the red pin stripe line on splitter

Hi Cadman, that's Alistairs car and yes he has the red stripe on his splitter. Mine is the other car and the last couple of Photographs shows my splitter which is without a red stripe.

The splitter isn't Maxton, this one has been designed by Alistair (Incognegro) and is made for him by someone local to him. It's available in a range of finishes and so far quite a few guys have them around the world.
