Simply Aston Martin Convoy, Fleet Services 21st August

As last year, I’m organising a convoy from Fleet services on the M3 to Beaulieu, for the Simply Aston Martin event.

Meet at 8.00 for coffee, leave services at 8.30.

Nearer the time, I will set up a WhatsApp group, with live tracking, so those who want to join along the route, can see where the convoy is and tag along.

We had about 15 cars last year, let’s see if we can get more this year.

I'm sorry I can't now go this year, we've booked a long weekend away (in the Aston obviously) but wished we could have met you all.
I only live one junction North of Fleet services and was really looking forward to this.

I've given my tickets to someone that will attend from the Northwest.

This is a great invitation. I have a slight dilemna as my V8V is due in for clutch replacement the following week. I have asked if VE can bring it forward at all but no news so far.

I will keep an eye on things and if possible will join you at Fleet for the run down.

If the convey departs Fleet at 08:30, it takes about 30 - 35 mins to drive to Rownhams, not sure if the convoy will be calling in there, but I plan to stop for coffee. so my estimate is 09:10 (ish)

Saw a convoy of about seven Astons yesterday 5.30pm on the A38 North in Derby. Looked great.

Forecast is indeed not good at present, but I have a hunch it may yet move further north than currently projected (he says, crossing everything).
