Dash cams

Looking for some advice really, I've had some cameras fitted to the car, a front and rear facing, Nextbase 380GWX. The quality is great but I'm looking for something slightly different from the cameras. These only record when the ignition is on and they also record vehicle speed. I'd prefer something does NOT record the car speed... But also something that operates when it detects motion.

Any ideas on what is out there? I think I'd like to move my Nexbase to my DD and find somehting else for the Aston

Interesting that you don't want the speed shown on your dashcam, but you live in Southampton, Mark.

Coincidentally, I think it is Southampton which has the most profitable speed camera in England.
Money was flowing in wonderfully (not sure who keeps it), until a van driver was booked at 55 mph. Fortunately the vehicle's dash cam filmed driving past the speed camera and the film also showed the GPS speed, which I think was 24 mph.
It is reported that thousands of drivers are now entitled to have their fines repayed, because the speed camera was faulty.

Why do you not want the speed to be displayed? Your cars ECU might record some speed information anyway and next year, the ISA (Intelligent Speed Assistance) system will be compulsory on new cars.
