V8V De-glued side door outer "chrome" - need advice/help

Hi all,

on the right hand side of my V8V chrome window moulding seal has de-glued from the black rubber seal below in the middle of the seal. Sides are still sticked firmly.

I've tried to fix with double sided scotch (extra strong) but it does not stick to the rubber side.

Aston refers to this part as "Weather strip door outer bright stainless" (apparently they are stainless steal not chrome).

Any advice how to fix?

Can this fully drop off while driving? Any experience?

Chrome plating, as a decorative finish, hasn't been used for many years. You may assume any shiny moulding on a car is stainless steel. You need a decent body adhesive; something like Upol Tiger seal

errr the side strakes are definitely chrome!
