Do you prefer your depreciation rare, or been done?

if I could afford to spend 300 + pounds on a car (obviously money no object) I wouldn't worry about depreciation.
There might be some people who can now afford a £300 + car, purely because they have always tried to minimise motor vehicle depreciation.
However I would suggest, that they are unlikely to be amongst the prospective customers, for a used car expected to have a 2 year, £100,000 loss.

Oh, try not to drive more than 3,800 miles."
Perhaps rather unfortunate, that these two cars appeared side by side on the Pre-owned list.

Point taken but to be fair they are extremely different specs. one being a limited edition with some priced goodies. I'd imagine the 007 car would hold a slightly better value 2 years down the line
Sorry Mark if I was being rather 'tabloid' (using only half the story, to make a headline).
I did not know that the 007 version (is that a limited edition?) is expected to more desirable and therefore suffer less depreciation, than a 59 limited edition.
I was indeed confused because seeing reference to 59, did make me think of the cars which were handed to customers at Le Mans (a dealer limited edition). But the car for sale is not green, so those might be two different limited editions.
Although with considerable help, I eventually created the Vantage limited edition table, you can now see that I am totally unsuited to compile a table of DBS limited editions. -
There do seem to be quite a few of them.Edited by Jon39 on Saturday 2nd October 10:29

Paul, are your referring to the 5.2 litre TT DBS (formally called DBSS) ?
