Rapide S Timing Chain Cover Seal

HI,

Had this replaced under warranty at AM recently and was just wondering if it would have required draining of the coolant? Only reason for checking is to save paying for coolant change on current service if so.

Any ideas?

When doing this job on a V8 I did drain the coolant, but I put it back in. Wouldn't they have done the same?

Thanks for that. I wonder if the V12 requires the same?

I'm guessing if it was drained they'd have put new in as part of the job with it being at AM dealer
