Bloomberg in US published article saying used Aston prices are up 37% year over year in England and the states due to chip shortages.

I luckily bought my 2017 DB11 in March this year. Less than two months later I reckon it would have cost me another £10k

I have not seen any mention, but have we heard anything about recent AML production hold ups (chip shortage), or delivery delays ?
If customer new orders are being fulfilled in a normal timescale, then I don't think it can be restricted new supply, that is boosting a demand for used Aston Martins.

It is not restricted new supply only that is boosting s/h car sales. It is the fact we are exiting lockdowns/folk have lots of money (no holidays/expensive meals out/train season tickets etc).

Try and buy any car at the moment especially white vans. There is little supply

I think ALL of these factors are true and contributary. For sure many car manufactures are really struggling to keep up with demand for new car orders, and chip shortages will of course be playing their part in adding to the overall issues of supply chain, staff shortages and delivery issues. Multiple reasons. And all of those mentioned above about lockdown and people having lots of spare cash.

One thing for sure, this is not unique to Aston Martin. Pretty much all car prices are up
