Tungsten silver paint

Doing the odd touch up on my 2005 db9 has never been really satisfactory, even a touch up stick from the dealers was too dark.
My cars 16yrs old and done 39000 miles and it was time for a front bumper repaint
My local paint supplier mixed me some basecoat from the 1262 paint code.
It was way too dark, i took my fuel filler lid down and left it with them.
If they entered 1262 into the system it provided 1 formulation , the dark one.
If they entered tungsten silver it produced 4 , 2 waterbased and 2 solvent one of which had much less black pigment its referred to as 5119H, and its spot on.

We just had some paintwork done on our 2005 DB9 volante, the paint is Ferrari Grigio Titanio and the paint suppliers spent ages trying to get a match with water based paints to no avail, as soon as they tried solvent based they got a perfect match!
