A unique car which clearly has and is, giving a great deal of enjoyment to the one owner.
Clearly no expense spared with maintaining in as-new condition. Wonderful.
I calculate the original purchase price, to be the equivalent of £360,000 now.

Yes. I love it when cars become the ultimate version of what they could be whilst still keeping in the spirit of the original.

He kept the pop-up headlamps rather than having superchargers fitted.

Just to set the record straight, it's not a Vantage at all. The engine received some attention in the service department after it was built but there is nothing Vantage about it at all. Tyrell used the name as clickbait and tried to rewrite history that never existed.

I just wonder in the name of everything holy what possessed him in picking those wheels.

I watched the video, understood that they were a special commission to BBS to improve handling by retaining original rolling radius and whatnot, but he could just have them mimic the original design but bigger.

They cheapen the car by 1000%.

Could you elaborate? What makes it not a Vantage ‘spec’?
