Premium Sound questions

Having installed my Premium amps, subwoofer, rear and centre front speaker and had the config file flashed on to the head unit, I have a few questions.
1.) There’s a thread that talks about EQ settings. How do I access the EQ ? I can only find the usual bass/treble/fader
2.) One of the settings shows the centre speaker as “off” and I am unable to switch it on. Is that usual ?
Any other tips to get the best sound would be appreciated. It definitely all works, but just want to ensure I’m maximising the factory options without aftermarket speakers. That 200w sub is a vast improvement over the original.

A bit of googling and manual reading and I found out that the equaliser is under the "Menu" button, so when you have Disc, Radio, USB etc selected, then hit menu and then scroll down for the various options. In there is the EQ and surround, which switches the centre speaker on or off.
Everything sounds a million times better now than the original setup - very pleased I went to the trouble of getting it all installed.

Premium is very very good indeed, whereas the std stereo is woeful. Hence its a deal breaker for many people. I never really understand the usual bs
t of saying listen to the exhaust either - if you like great sounds, surely you should like great sounding music too. Then again some people love burgers but then get their steaks well done! 
Anyway, do have a go with the settings in the FAQ, I posted those a long time ago now... but many many people have found them to be a great improvement over stock. There are a couple of other well received setups too done by other members here if you dig through past posts.

To continue this thread a bit further, does anyone know whether the Premium Sound system speakers changed over the years, or remained the same? I just wonder whether the older cars drivers will deteriorate as they are made of perishable materials? (Paper and Foam?) I can only assume that they will ultimately crack or go brittle, much like any other old speaker?

Artist and song title are displayed, but not the album name. In addition, the tracks are numbered 1-2,000+ so AC/DC are always track 1, track 50 might be artists starting with C, 500+ and I may be up to H.
Is there an ability to select an artist, then an album and play that on the USB without scrolling through 100’s of tracks to find the track I want. Westworld’s Sonic Boom Boy would take ages to track down (no pun intended but very relevant !)
I’m sure it’s just the way I’ve saved things but any help gratefully appreciated.

More answering my own questions with a bit of faffing around
All sorted now. I had a couple of file extensions at the front of the USB drive (F: drive in my case), so it read as follows;
F:/Music/Aston Music/Artist/album/track/track number
By deleting Music/Aston Music it cleaned things up so that it was then just F:Artist/album/track etc. That way the head unit was reading name of the artist first, then the album, then the track name.
Plugged the USB in and still couldn’t search by artist or title….
Scrolled through a few tracks and was listening to Live and Let Die (off the best of James Bond of course). I know, I thought, I’ll crank up the bass a bit for the crescendo, so hit the button that usually adjusts the bass/treble etc. (Looks like a musical note).
Turns out this had now decided to repurpose itself as a fully functioning artist/album/track selection tool. Happy days !
I can now finally report after 6 months that my Premium system now works perfectly with full artist search ability.
