Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror

As title, can these be bought and retro fitted to a Vantage that didn't come with one originally? in other words, replace the non dimming mirror with a dimming mirror?

I realise the auto dimming ones come with a block connector however, surely the wires can be spliced into the vanity lights wiring. I'm not wanting the 'garage door opening function'.

Yes, I did this to my 2006 vantage.
The wiring and plug were tucked behind the interior light, so no splicing required.

Volvo item I believe - not sure on part nr but off something like a C70 or S70. Whichever it is there’s plenty on eBay as well.

Someone will be along shortly with a part nr or have a Google…
