V8 Vantage wipers

Bit of a strange one here - got the car back from servicing yesterday with a clean bill of health. All well until i heard a strange noise which lead me into the garage to find the windscreen wipers working!
The car was tailored back in dry weather, car in garage, locked and the windscreen stalk switched to off but the wipers working. Pressed the disconnect button in the boot to shut the car down. Been out in out today, same thing 2 minutes after locking the car, or actually leaving it unlocked the wipers go off. Anyone had this before?
No warnings on dash
Battery 12.5 volts at terminals in engine bay, switched off
Didn't find any codes with cheap code reader
Car has had very limited use recently but doesn't struggle at all when starting
Car had been washed so i checked inside the fuse box dry, as a bone.
Had the car 4.5 years and never had this before until it was dropped off yesterday.
I'm scratching my head at this, any offers please?
