Will a DBS grill fit on a 2009 DB9?

Hi All,

My 2009 DB9 has a broken bar that holds the slats, I'm told you can't buy the bars separately so I'm looking at buying a DBS grill instead as they are similar money. What I would like to know is has anyone done this and can the DBS grill fit the 2009 DB9 directly as they are both 5 slat grills without changing the surround bracket? I would like to be sure before ordering as Im told the surround bracket is on back order and not available....

Could you get something 3D printed or fabricated?

I wouldn’t fit a DBS grille. The golden rule of classics, which the 9 now is, is keep it original, don’t bling it up with ‘wannabe’ go faster bits.

Did the later versions of the DB9, use the DBS (or similar) front grille?
Not easy to see much difference in photographs.

No. DBS is has very distinct cutouts on each side of the grill. More obvious in the metal than in photos. Not found on any DB9
