Paint and Panel 10 year Warranty

Hi All, I hope you had a great Christmas.

Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction to the actual wording of the 10 year paint and panel warranty.
Is it in the manual or elsewhere?
My reason for asking is that the Carbon Roof on my 2014.5 Vanquish has had a problem diagnosed as a problem from within. I have brought this up with AML via the local dealer and have an offer from AML but 30% of cost is simply not satisfactory as the fault has been evident for 2 years but slowly worsening. The car at the time of involving them had done just 19000 miles.

I would like to start some paper trail with relevant quotes so that if the offer does not improve I can seek some legal backing.

The fault is flaking paint and pitting paint/clear coat where it seems the clear coat was either not applied correctly or the surface was contaminated prior to painting/clear coating or whatever they do to coat the carbon.

I’m pretty sure that the paint warranty is only 3 years (like the entire car). The 10 year period is for corrosion penetration. I think the best you can do is accept any dealer goodwill contributing to the repair.

Mercedes-Benz generously provide a 30 year corrosion warranty.
Something odd must occur in the translation from Deutch to English.
No claims for rust are even considered.

Rust is not corrosion in Germany, even when steel is involved.
I suppose it does become complicated with Gaydon aluminium though.

I will await a further decision from them. I have in mind what I consider a fair offer. The roof looks so bad that I have covered it with a wrap. It is clearly a manufacturing issue. Aston as I understand do not make the carbon roof for the Vanquish gen 2 it is outsourced.
