You are of course correct Phil in the Aston Martin context, but did you know there was a much earlier DBS?
The answer that I was hoping someone would post, is 1908.


The David Brown family business, David Brown & Sons (DBS) were involved with motor cars for a few years, long before the 1950s.
They manufactured the DBS Valveless from 1908 to 1915.

This 1914 example is now displayed in the Tolson Museum.
