Please Help!!

Good morning everyone,

Hope you are all well. I need some help identifying these rims. I've been told they are fake.
Any ideas? A picture is linked below.

That they are not Aston Martin rims. My knowledge of rims is limited. Basically my boss is looking to sell them, and i was told by an ex-employee, that they are fake. Any help would be much appreciated.

They look 70's/80's what model does he believe them to be from?

They're certainly 'in period' for a 70s/80s Aston. They look genuine split rims. Not sure what genuine Aston.Martin is supposed to be, they look right to my untrained eye.

Look on the hub side. Might be an Aston stamp somewhere.

Aston didn't make their own wheels in that period, manufacturers such as GKN made them.

Wire wheels to about 1970 on the 6-cyl cars. Alloy GKN 15" on the V8 until about 1981 where the V8 (AM didn't make any other car than the V8 and its Vantage/Volante variants in period) was offered with a 15" BBS, then from roughly 1984 it came with 16" Ronal. I think there was one other type tried at some point in the 80's, but it was quickly withdrawn - I think for quality issues.

That doesn't look like any AM wheel I have ever seen. If its genuine, maybe it came off a Zagato - then it really would be valuable!
