Exterior Door Handles and Lens

Noticed today that my passenger side exterior door handle lens has started retreating into the handle housing very slightly at one end (MY14 DB9).

Is the exterior handle a sealed unit? From scuderia parts and astonmartinbits websites and assembly images it would seem you can buy the lens to fit, so the lens clips in?

Has anyone done this fix? What was the best solution? Do I need to take the door card off and then the handle to then be able to clip the lens back into the correct position or is there a simpler way?

Any help/advice appreciated.

I believe the door handle needs to be removed in order to snap back or replace the lens.

Thanks for the reply. So the door handle itself is not a sealed unit?
